Buderim
Mountain State School students wear a school uniform comprised of our school
colours: bottle green and maroon red, with a touch of golden yellow. Wearing a
uniform conveys a sense of self-pride in students and their school. It fosters
a sense of belonging and promotes the safety of students through easy
identification. It is expected that students wear a full school uniform every
day, and represent their school, families and selves to the best of their
abilities.
Uniforms
can be purchased directly from the uniform shop, located under the first
building when entering the school grounds through Celebration Way (near the
school lights crossing). They can also be paid for using Flexischools. For

Current uniform
Prep - Year 6
- BMSS polo shirt - maroon with yellow/gold collar (Prep) or bottle green collar (Years 1-6)
- Bottle green shorts or skort
- BMSS dress (Years 1-6) - bottle green, maroon and white check
- BMSS hat - maroon broad-brimmed with logo
- Socks - single-coloured bottle green, black or white - ankle style
- Shoes - all black footwear, fully enclosed for health and safety (no thongs, sandals or boots)
- Hair ties/accessories - bottle green, maroon or yellow/gold, (prefer hair longer than collar-length to be tied back)
Winter uniform
- BMSS jacket - bottle green and maroon zip-up fleece with embroidered logo
- BMSS pullover - maroon fleece with embroidered logo
- Plain bottle green long or tracksuit pants
- Plain bottle green tights under skort or dress
- Additional winter items must be plain bottle green or maroon in colour, with no patterns, logos or slogans. For health and safety reasons, scarves are not to be worn
Sporting house colours
Every Friday and for sporting
events, students are required to wear a sports shirt and shorts/skorts. Our
house colours are as follows:
