Buderim Mountain State School is renowned as a centre for quality education and learning on the Sunshine Coast. It boasts excellent facilities to support our students’ learning and personal development.

Examples of some of our exceptional facilities include:

 

  • A heated 25-metre swimming pool;
  • Two tennis courts;
  • One full-size basketball court;
  • Sporting ovals;
  • Two computer labs;
  • A Special Education Program building;
  • Science and Technology centre;
  • State of the art Resource Centre and Library.

 

Facilities for hire

Some of our school facilities are available for community hire, subject to availability. These include:

  • School Hall: Our “Hall for All” is available to hire outside of school hours for community or instructional purposes, on a regular or occasional basis. The hall has a capacity of approximately 130-150, and includes a curtained stage, parquetry flooring, some specialised lighting and audio visual equipment, and has two adjoining amenities blocks. It is situated at the rear of the school grounds, and can also be accessed from Clithero Avenue and Elizabeth Street. Onsite parking is not available, however on-street parking is easily accessible. Groups currently utilise the hall for recreational activities such as dancing, karate, tae kwon do and callisthenics.   • Tennis Courts: We have two full-size tennis courts available for hire. They are situated at the bottom of our school oval, opposite Luke’s IGA Xpress on Main Street, Buderim. For permanent bookings phone (07) 5477 2777. For daily bookings phone Luke's IGA Xpress on (07) 5445 5446.
  • School oval: Our large school oval includes a cricket pitch and running track, and can be hired by the community for recreational use. For oval bookings contact the Administration Office on (07) 5477 2777.
