Religious instruction

​​​​​Participating faith groups: As part of our Cooperative arrangement, we have faith groups who provide volunteers to teach the program, including Anglican, Australian Christian Churches, Baptist, Catholic, Christian Community Churches of Aust., Church of Christ, International Churches of Australia, Methodist, Presbyterian, Salvation Army, Uniting Churches.

Authorised program: The Religious Instruction program covers the Christian Education Publications and Burst Christian Resources Curriculum and is offered in Years 1-6.

Aims and goals: To inform students about the basic beliefs of the Christian faith from a non-denominational perspective.

Lesson structure: Religious instruction (RI) takes place during the afternoon sessions each week with different days allocated to different year levels (30 minute lesson per week over 1 semester).

Parents of students participating in these programs are advised that all materials are provided by the RI volunteers and their supporting churches free of charge.
