Student services and support programs

Buderim Mountain State School has a range of programs and services to help support children who may be identified as experiencing difficulties at school. These programs operate under the expert guidance of specialist staff who work as a part of the educational team within our school. Learn more about their programs below.

  • Chaplaincy program

    Chaplaincy program

    Buderim Mountain State School is fortunate to have the 2016 Sunshine Coast Australia Day Citizen of the Year, David Larkin, as our school chaplain four days a week.

  • Guidance counsellor

    To support the needs of our students, a Guidance Officer specialised in educational psychology visits Buderim Mountain State School at least two days a week.

  • Learning support

    At Buderim Mountain State School we cater for students who have a diverse range of educational needs.

  • Special education program

    Buderim Mountain State School offers a Special Education Program which is individually developed for students with a disability.
