Computer and science labs

Buderim Mountain State School is dedicated to making the latest computer technology available to all students, without the need for children to bring their own devices to school. All of our classrooms are Wi-Fi enabled and contain computer technology such as iPads or laptops, which are used by the teaching staff in all year levels to assist with delivery of the Australian curriculum.
We also have two computer labs in our school which are available for all classes to use from Years Prep to Year 6.
Our state of the art science and technology centre was built in 2010, providing a dedicated science laboratory and enhancing the practical delivery of children’s lessons. The centre is used primarily for our Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) program, which comes under our digital technology curriculum. Popular classes taught within STEM include robotics and coding, participated in by students from Prep to Year 6. The centre is also used by all year levels for more traditional based science lessons and experiments.
